Hello! I am Dr. Susovon Jana — an Assistant Professor in the Department of Commerce at Adamas University, Kolkata. Previously, I served as an Assistant Professor at the Amity College of Commerce & Finance, Amity University, Kolkata. My academic and research interests primarily focus on finance, stock markets, financial volatility, and microeconomic factors, with a particular interest in understanding financial market dynamics through advanced quantitative and econometric methods.

I earned my Ph.D. in Management from Vidyasagar University, where I conducted doctoral research as a full-time research scholar and was awarded the UGC Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) from 2020 to 2022, followed by the UGC Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) from 2022 to 2024. I also hold an M.Phil. in Commerce from Vidyasagar University and an MBA in Finance Management from IGNOU.

My research has been published in several reputed international journals indexed in ABDC, Web of Science, and Scopus. I have also presented my research at numerous national and international conferences and actively participate in academic workshops, research discussions, and scholarly activities. Through my research, I aim to contribute to a deeper understanding of financial markets and the economic factors that shape their behaviour.
