I am Dr. Susovon Jana, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Commerce at Adamas University, Kolkata. Previously, I served as an Assistant Professor at the Amity College of Commerce & Finance, Amity University, Kolkata. Before entering the teaching profession, I was a full-time doctoral research scholar in the Department of Business Administration at Vidyasagar University, where I was awarded the UGC Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) from 2020 to 2022 and subsequently the UGC Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) from 2022 to 2024.
I hold a Ph.D. in Management and an M.Phil. in Commerce from Vidyasagar University, along with an MBA in Finance Management from IGNOU. I have also qualified the UGC-NET (JRF) and West Bengal State Eligibility Test (WBSET).
My academic and research interests primarily focus on finance, stock markets, financial volatility, and microeconomic factors. Through my research, I aim to explore financial market behaviour and contribute to a deeper understanding of the economic and financial factors that influence markets.
I have published my research in several reputed international journals indexed in ABDC, Web of Science, and Scopus. I have also presented my research at numerous national and international conferences and actively participate in academic discussions, workshops, and research activities.
